Habit in Santa Barbara

Best fast food place for burgers and the onion rings, chicken sandwiches, salads. What ever you order you are surly going to enjoy it.

The Habit's burgers are definitely some of the best around, not just in Santa Barbara - but anywhere! Definitely recommend their double char burger with cheese and their tri-tip sandwich on a roll. Their onion rings are probably the best I've ever had and their shakes are extremely good as well. The only downside to this specific location is the minimal amount of parking available.

A letter-perfect SoCal summer's day, cause I was sitting outside @ the Habit by the beach. My strawberry/vanilla mixed-malt distracted me from my classic char burger & fries, made fresh & served hot. The crew were all smiles, and smart enough to leave perfection just as it was, As it were.. 😎

I couldn’t get a burger medium rare (state law?), so my burger had a bitter charcoal taste. Cheese has changed to a less desirable over the years. (I ate in Goleta before there was a chain.) Excellent service and cleanliness. Will return.

Best burger in SB

Location is a bit difficult to see from street. Parking lot is usually fairly crowded, but with patience, can find a parking spot. Employees are friendly. Walk up service for ordering from menu. The 2 Santa Barbara Habit restaurants offer a delicious turkey burger, which I've not found at any other hamburger habit chain yet. Plenty of indoor and exterior patio seating. Food service is normally quick, even during their busy hours.

This Habit Burger is much like all of them yet in some ways not the same. Did you not offer the same things like mushrooms on the side. I drove past the place once because it is so low profile that it is easily passed up. The food was good in the service was friendly. This burger place is in a prime location to just sit back and relax. I ordered my favorite sandwich that I he tuna.

Parking is horrible but it's all worth it when you eat your meal.

This was among the best of burgers. I was pleasantly surprised that they have gluten free buns available. The burger was huge and the gf bun was tasty!

Great burgers at great prices, you can't go wrong. The turkey burger is good, too, as are the onion rings. The tempura green beans are fantastic.Pretend that's four and a half stars up there.

Ordered a single burger. Not bad. Good little burger fries are normal nothing special.

Parking is the only issue this location has which is a testament to how good they are since the parking lot is always full... friendly staff and good food, can't ask for more.

BUT.... It's still a fast food operation... Probably the best cheese burgers in town... But if you ask for something not on menus ie... "Can I please trade some of my fries for just 2 opinion rings"? They say yes but screw it up... They will fix mistake of putting onion ring on your burger.... But then fries get cold waiting for 2 onion rings and cheesburge gets unmade than remade.(to much manipulating food) and your good to go... Now in all fairness they are nicest folk in super busy place and go out of their way to make you happy with service.. 5stars just for that.... and great food 5 stars as well.... The real problem is I'm just a 3 star customer in a 5 star fast food place. And don't forget it.... Come visit me and my 5 STAR INCREDABLE GLASS BRACELET ART every Sunday at Santa Barbara Art Walk... Best way to enjoy a Sunny Sunday.... And not just because I'm there... But that's part of it...

We were already getting tired of all the fast food joints in USA, but this one anyway looked nice, with a green terrace. So we gave it a shot. Very nice burgers with very fresh and lots of lettuce and fresh vegetables. Fries were nice and crisp. So all in all a positive surprise! (This was Santa barbara)

This was on the husband's list of places to try while in SoCo, but I wasn't super impressed. Burger was a little overcooked.

The Habit Burger Grill burger was amazing!! Bacon and carmelized onion! Cant go wrong! Got it with a side of jalapeño relish ;)Would def recommend this place!

The barbecue bacon char is my go to! Just look at the buzzfeed worth it episode on burgers, and you will see how amazing this place is! A wide variety of food, from sweet potato fries to fried green bean tempura.

Good tacos, fast, and reasonably priced. I had the crispy shrimp, the grilled fish (blackened for $1 more) and the Bah Ni or something (pulled pork, Asian style). 3 for $9, and when I cone here again I will have trouble not ordering these same three. They were all great.

Burgers are always fresh and the vegetables are always crisp and tasty. I highly recommend any of the malted shakes or the Santa Barbara Burger. it was pretty busy considering the quarantine situation but they did a good job to move the line quickly and get everyone their food. They are adhering to the social distancing guidelines.

My favorite old-school burger joint serving up made-to-order fast food with fresh and delicious ingredients. A Santa Barbara tradition for decades now making it's mark all over California. This particular location is within walking distance to the beach.

Fast service considering the Covid age of doing things. One line to order, no pagers, once your order is completed someone comes out and hands out your food. The smell was heavenly as always.

Touring around the Santa Barbara place and I came across The Habit grill. I should say that I am a Burger enthusiast, and I enjoy all sorts of hamburgers and sandwiches, however, these charred burgers are legit. Having tried many major fast food and gourmet burger chains around the country, That Habit became a quick favorite. Specifically, I tried the Santa Barbara Char with bacon, fries and a drink. I will let this picture do the talking! Customer service was good and the restaurant is clean both inside and outside. Great place to stop if you're passing by Santa Barbara.

Great service 👍 clean and sanitized wonderful food

I don't even personally eat beef and I like taking my family here. Great value and the kids like it. They stick the details on your order (like the little burger candy in the kids meal) and the nostalgia level of the one in Old Town Goleta reminds me of my child hood every time. Love it and they do a tasty chicken sandwich too.

Always great food, if you haven't been to a Habit... GO! You will return

Small parking lot. Fast and friendly service. Always a busy location. Excellent onion rings, milkshakes and sides. A good price for very good food. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating.

5 out of 5 without a doubt. The employees where extremely nice and made the best burger I could have ever asked for. They played music and everyone was enjoying themselves. The fries are also very amazing I truly didn't expect this place to be so good, wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much
